When is the festival?

Real Food Rocks Festival 2019 will be held on Saturday 20th July 2019. Admission will be from 10am and the day events will close at 6pm. Evening festivities will commence at 6.30pm until late.

Where is Real Food Rocks held?

Real Food Rocks is held at Brathay Hall, Ambleside, Cumbria, LA22 0HP. Take a look at our map on the about page to see the exact location.

How can I buy a ticket?

Click on the red “BUY TICKETS” button at the top of the page and add your required tickets to the cart. Then proceed to pay with paypal. YOUR PAYPAL RECEIPT OR CONFIRMATION EMAIL IS YOUR TICKET. PLEASE DO NOT DELETE. *Online tickets have now sold out. Tickets will be available on the door *

I've bought my ticket, but cannot find it in my email

Your paypal receipt or confirmation email is your ticket. Either will be accepted on the day. The confirmation email may take a few hours to come through after purchase. If you do not see this email, please check your spam. If you have lost either of these emails, please contact us using the contact form and we can help you.

I have bought a day ticket, can I purchase an evening ticket on the door?

Tickets are now not available online for the day and evening event. However, you will be able to purchase an evening ticket on entry to the festival. 

I've purchased a ticket but cannot attend anymore, can I get a refund?

Yes, a refund will apply, but will be subject to any paypal fee. Refunds may only be applied up to 1 month prior to 20th July 2019. (22nd June 2019)

Do I need a ticket to attend the evening event?

Yes, you require a ticket for both the day and evening event.

Can I buy a day ticket on the door?

Yes, this is possible by cash or card. Please be advised that you may have to queue. Pre purchased tickets would mean faster access to the site. *IMPORTANT: Please note that pre-purchased tickets have priority for on site parking. Therefore, we would advise that you park nearby in Ambleside and walk to the festival. *

Where can I stay?

You can book to stay on site at Brathay Hall. Their accommodation includes both camping and indoor rooms. Or you can choose to stay in the local area. Ambleside is only a 15 minute walk / 5 minute drive from Brathay.

Can I bring my children?

Yes! There will be children’s entertainment running throughout the day. Please ensure your children are supervised throughout the festival duration. 

Can I bring my dog?

Yes! However, your dog should be on a lead at all times please. 

Will there be vegetarian food options available?

Yes! Please look at our list of vendors to see the food selections available in the day. In the evening there will also be vegetarian food available. 

Where can I get help during the festival?

There will be a room allocated for an information desk. There will also be PHC Marshalls present throughout the site who will be happy to help you.

Please check the website footer, where you will links through to both our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.


On entry in to Brathay Hall there will be marshalls to direct you to designated parking areas. As online ticket sales have now closed, and if you have not purchased a ticket already, we strongly suggest you park nearby in Ambleside and walk to the festival, as the parking spaces may be full. If you require disabled access then please proceed to the festival and we will allocate parking for you.
